our trip to texas

i was washing my car one day after we got new tires on it and decided...wow this car looks so good i should sell it. so i talked dave into it and started looking at minivans. we found the perfect one but it was all the way in texas!! im shocked i talked dave into going all the way there but he was all for it. he has a buddy out there that dreydan calls texas tom and was able to finish a job out there that he started about three weeks before. so everything worked out perfect. plus it was my birthday so that helped my case. the trip was a lot of fun! we flew out there early in the morning then rented a car to the dealership. then we bought the van and we were able to stop by my cousin marie's house which was right by the dealership. then we headed to houston so dave could work. dreydan and i went to the hotel to sleep. the next morning was my birthday. dave worked with texas tom while dreydan and i cruised around and went shopping. then we picked dave up and headed home. we stopped in dallas with tom and he tooks us out to dinner for my birthday. the 27 hour drive home was a piece of cake! dreydan was such a good boy!
