cox farm

last weekend we went to cox farm. dave was on his death bed with h1n1 so we were trying to stay away from him. i was debating wether or not to take them because this place is SO expensive! every year they raise the price...i hate that! they had a blast though! my camera battery died (yes, again...i'm so bad at remembering to charge it) so i wasn't able to get a lot of pictures. Too bad because this place is so cute! it was fun spending time with the kids! we lost dreydan for a little bit but some nice lady was waiting with him till he found his mommy. oops! teach me to turn around for two seconds to buy some kettle corn and lemonade. he loved all the slides and the rope swing. delaney loved them too as long as mable was with her. i'm so thankful for mable. she is such a great big sister (when she wants to be). she was such a good sport all day.

i remember going on this hayride when i was pregnant with the twins. i was so huge and still had 3 more months till they were born!

soccer field...

i took the twins across the street to the soccer field to run around and enjoy the nice weather. dave was at home sick so i spent all weekend trying to keep them away from him (they both got sick anyway). delaney had fun chasing a butterfly and catching pretend butterflies. dreydan was riding his scooter down the hill. i tried doing it and almost killed myself hahaha his tiny scooter wasn't meant for big kids.

Halloween 09

this halloween was a lot of fun. it was nice having it fall on a saturday. we went trick.or.treating in dave's parents neighborhood (seems it might have become a tradition). the kids loved it! mable thinks she's getting too old for trick.or.treating and said this is her last year but i'm sure she'll change her mind about that. i had fun dressing up this year. it's been a LONG time since i've dressed up for halloween. mable and i still have BLUE hair! it's so annoying. it won't come out. i had to call the school and let them know that we tried everything but my daughter would be coming to school with blue hair. i even took them swimming at the gym but it's still there. oops! i'll never do that again :) delaney and dreydan's cosutmes were fun. we found a dash costume at target. it was so irresistibly cute and suited him so well we had to buy it. i made delaney's violet costume (with some helpful advise from my mom). who knew the craft store had such cool things and could be so much fun?!thing one and thing two. our hair is still blue 2 weeks later.
i stood in the middle of the street and spun around a few times and got this picture. i think it's pretty cool. i was dizzy after taking it hahaall the goods....sweet mable...doesn't she look creepy....

Halloween House

i was bored and everyone was sleeping so i went outside with my tripod and took some pictures of the house all decorated for halloween. all the colors glowing from the windows looked cool....

disneyland.

there was a convention dave had been wanting to go to for work and i found out it was going to be in anaheim this year. i convinced him to go and bring me and mable along. jeni and her family decided to drive and meet us there. i'm so glad they came! it would have been so boring without them since dave was working almost the entire time. it was nice to get a little brake from the twins and it was fun to watch jeni with all her kids. they were very entertaining.  

i stuck my empty water bottle in here hoodie :) she never found out! it stayed in till she took her sweatshirt off
