can't wait for SUMMER....

laney and i can't wait for summer to come! we can't wait till we can be at the pool everyday. every time we drive by the pool laney tells me she hates winter :) i agree! she is always begging me to wear her flip flops. she got mad at me for packing them all away when summer was over. she found a pair at the bottom of the shoe basket and wanted to wear them....at least they match her tights.

Blizzard of '09

this was a crazy storm! it was the weekend before christmas when normally you would be rushing to every store trying to get some last minute shopping done but EVERYTHING was shut down! the schools, the malls, and the airports! we ended up getting about 2 feet of snow!! the kids had fun playing in it. mable's school closed all week so she got to start her christmas break three days early :) i am so ready for summer!! i hate the cold!!good thing my car was in the garage...i wonder if these people remember what car is theirs :)

we had SO much fun while they were here! i wish they could come over all the time! we built an american girl cabinet for mable and delaney. grandpa duane turned laney into a junk.food.junkie! we went to bull run to see the awesome christmas lights.

dreydan found his helmet while we were working in the garage...

my mom and i were laughing so hard because my dad has a hard time keeping his eyes open when he gets a picture taken:) the flash was bright! laney couldn't keep her eyes open either.

just dropped them off at the airport :(...
