Goodbye Mable

Sorry another way old post

The night before Mable had to leave we all went out to dinner.

This was Mable's first time flying as an unaccompanied minor. She wasn't really alone though. She had her best friend Kailey with her. They were both so nervous to fly by themselves but they thought they were pretty cool to be able to do that. I was nervous the whole time but they had a good flight. They said they sat next to a really nice lady. Don't they look so cute in their matching outfits? They planned that all out themselves. Oh yeah, and we forgot Mable's bag. Who does that? I can see forgetting a couple things but the whole bag. What can we say were blonde! We had to ship it out to her.

Summer (S'mores with the S'morris')

Really they're the Morris' but we like to call them the s'morris' when we get together and have s'mores :) k we're dorks!

I miss you Teej!

Summer (Beach)

I know summer is definitely gone now but I didn't get a chance to blog about it because I went to Utah and didn't have my computer with all my pictures on it. So now that I'm home I have some catching up to do....

Before Mable left for Shaun's for 6 weeks we took her and her friend Kailey to the beach. It's always so hard on our family when she's gone for so long. We try to make the most of half the summer she is with us. Kailey's mom Shanna (Dave's awesomest cousin ever) watched the twins for us so we could spend some quality time with Mable. Sometimes it's hard to even hear ourselves think when the twins are around let alone talk to each other. We left early in the morning so we could have a full day at the beach. The girls were able to sleep in the van on the way there. We all had a blast! Dave played with the girls for hours in the water while I just stayed on the beach enjoying every minute of it. I love the relationship that Mable and Dave have. It always amazes me how similar they are and how well they get along. They laugh when no one else is laughing and they have all these inside jokes that I don't even get sometimes. Dave is such an awesome dad to her. I think that makes it even harder that she has to go away for 6 weeks every summer. Every year it gets harder and harder. We miss her terribly when she's gone! But I guess one good thing about it is that we enjoy the time we have together. This summer was a lot of fun. I'll be blogging about the rest soon!

Old Summer Post (Kings Dominion)

This is when we went to Kings Dominion. Mable and I convinced Dave to take a day off from work so we could go on a weekday. We brought Karleigh, Dave's sister with us. Way FUN!

Leaving Utah :(

I'm so sad blogging about this. What a fun trip we had! I miss my family SOOOO much! I miss going to target or wal-mart with my sisters and mom after the kids went to bed. I miss hanging out with all the kids in my parents culdisac and just letting the kids run around. I miss sleeping in the king-sized bed with all three of my kids. I miss playing Dr. Mario on the Wii with my dad and him saying "Rrrr, I hate you!" whenever I would beat him. However I don't miss him begging me to help him beat the stupid dragon on Bubble Bobble. Sorry dad. I miss eating all the fresh vegetables from my parents garden. They were so yummy! I miss making hair bows and tutus and being crafty with my mom. I miss riding on the tandem bike with the trailer on the back. I miss riding it to school to drop Mable off everyday. I miss just showing up at Jeni's house whenever I got bored. I miss Jeremy calling me "The Princess" because I took up a lot of Jeni's time. I miss us all riding our bikes to the grocery store and the dollar store. Hey Natalie and Mom...remember that time we forgot to invite Jeni to ride bikes with us to get a movie from the redbox and she came over right as we were getting home. And we pretended like we were just getting ready to leave so she wouldn't be upset. Then we had to ride there all over again and we were all laughing except Jeni and she didn't know why? LOL that was the funniest night ever!
I have the best family in the world!!! Thanks for sharing your house and all your toys and bikes and everything else with us. Thanks so much guys! We'll have to do it again next summer. Try not to have too much fun without us.
We had so many bags...these are all of our carry-ons.
We had 5 suitcases, 6 carry-ons, One double stroller, 2 car seats, and the bike trailer.
The kids were all so good on the airplane ride home. I let the twins have their pacifier as a bribe for them to be good.
Mable and Laney sat behind Dreydan and me on the flight from Utah to Denver.

What a great big sister Mable is...she gave her gum!
We got Panda Express for dinner at the Denver Airport. The stroller in the background is loaded with all of our carry-ons and one of the car seats.

This is Laney watching Tom and Jerry.Dreydan taking a short nap.
When we got to the airport in DC we were all so excited to see Daddy! Too bad he fell asleep and was late picking us up. I was so mad! I had to get 2 smartcarts and stack them up. Then I put Dreydan on one cart on top of the huge stack of bags and Laney on the other. Mable pushed the double stroller, which was stacked with bags too and I pushed one cart and pulled the other. Thank goodness I had Mable to help. It took a couple days to forgive Dave but I'm finally over it.
Oh yeah, and to make matters worse Delaney has to go pee so bad. I wasn't about to drag everything and everyone back into the airport. She had a pull-up on so I had to convince her it was okay to just go in it. Actually, now that I look back on this it is kinda funny.

Last Day in UT (Classic Skating & Bouncing)

Classic was so fun! The twins borrowed scooters from Jeni and Natalie's kids and Mable borrowed Jeni's rollerblades. We did the hookie pookie and played a dice game. After that we went to the bounce area and went down the slides and played in a moon bounce thing. We all got in and started a ball fight.

Last Day in UT (The Witches @ Gardner Village)

On our last day in Utah we went to see the Witches at Gardner Village. The kids had fun. It was Dreydan and Delaney's nap time so they were a bit cranky. We miss everyone!!!! :( As I am writing this Dreydan is hanging over my shoulder singing "Joshie, Joshie".
We brought Lunchables for the kids and there was some random mentally challenged guy named Montie (his name was written on his lunch box he was carrying around). He came right over to our table and starting taking the kids food. Sethie was like "hey, stop" we had to hurry and pack up and leave. It was pretty funny!
Good ol' Montie

When ever I tell Dreydan not to smile he does this face.
