mani/pedi by mable and madeleine

This was in early september but i forgot to post so here it is now...

mable and madeleine had a few sleep overs on school nights. one night they slept here and the other at madeleines. i LOVE having a friend like katie (madeleines mom) and i love that our kids are friends too. when they play together they actually act there own age and not like they're 15. they set up a whole spa for dreydan and delaney with mani/pedis and massages.

dreydan could REALLY use a brother....too bad he's not getting one.

the other morning before school i was yelling down to the kid from upstairs to get their shoes and socks on and i came down to find them doing this....

( again they have flip flops on in the middle of november).

good thing there's no rush for school since everyone starts at 9:15 including mable.

laneys toe...ouch!

The day after Halloween the kids didn't have school since it was teacher work day. Delaney cut her toe running out the the van and she didn't even realize she was hurt till she saw blood dripping everywhere. I think her toes were frozen since the woman REFUSES to wears shoes and she caught it on something! It was really gross. After her toes thawed out it started to hurt. Mable dressed up in her doctor costume (the one that i bought for her for halloween which she then changed her mind like 20 times about what she wanted to be and ended up not wearing it...i'm glad she was able to get some use out of it though). She was so cute, she gave laney some halloween candy and a few bandages and she was good to go. She even set up a whole hospital for laney using a clothes rack, some blankets, and even a decorative tree. I love when they play together and are not fighting (it's a rare occurance). As you can see Dreydan was pretty entertained too.

we had a great halloween this year! delaney was a cute little witch with her american girl doll matching her. dreydan was a fireman! his costume looks so much like a real fireman. mable....this was her first year trick-or-treating with friends and without us :( her and her friends made t-shirts that say "this is my costume" and i made them matching tutu's. they were cute! we took the twins around the neighborhood with their buddy butchie and his mom and dad. they all had a BLAST! they were running from house to house like CRAZY! can't wait till next halloween!!! delaney told me she want to be a juice box next year. that should be fun!
