centreville day parade.

this was THE most lame parade i've ever been to. it seriously, no kidding, lasted MAYBE 5 minutes. it was crazy! the kids were like "what! it's over already!" i swear if you blinked you missed the whole thing. anyway, it was fun while it lasted :) and the kids got tons of candy since we were practically the only ones there. even as we were walking to the car there was candy just sitting on the sidewalk.

we got to bring our friend logan with us...his mom and brothers were going to come but his brother woke up sick. we're glad he got to come!

i know she loves me...deep down inside :)

dave's mom was having the kids spend the night so decided to go out with katie and carlos. usually are dates consist of going to walmart or target (or best buy if daves lucky) dressed in our comfy sweatpants then renting a movie, so this night was a nice change! we went to a spanish restaurant in dc. called jaleo...the food wasn't very good but we had a great time!

dreydan's science bag

dreydan got to bring the science bag home from school. we had the bag for two weeks but kept putting it off till the last night. we made domes out of egg shells and saw how many books we could stack on top of them until they broke. the kids thought it was so cool. later on in the week i went to dreydans class room and we got to show all his classmates the experiment. dreydan got a science certificate which he calls a "surf.a.ticket". he was SO excited!

nevermind the no make-up....mable is lookin good though.

Clifton Day 2011

We had a great time at Clifton Day! It always reminds me of Utah because there is booths set up with hairbow vendors and crafty things. The twins favorite part was the fishing. They got some pretty cool prizes. Mable ran into a bunch of her friends from school. Dreydan saw Teddy from his preschool and got to go down the inflatable slide with him. And of course they all had to get cotton candy!

bike ride

with all my free time while the kids are in school i've been doing some bike riding with katie. it's so much better than being in the gym! on this day we rode to falls church and stopped for lunch, then rode to dave's parents house in vienna. it was a great workout and SO much fun!

Mable got braces!!

Mable is so cute with her braces! She has been wanting them for a long time. She had no idea how much work they are but she's doing good.

Columbus Day

Today we got the day off from school. We went to Michaels and got some craft projects. Then we made a pizza.
