peter pan play

lesson learned for the day...don't trust a gps.

anyway, grandpa joel bought us tickets to go see peter pan at wolf trap. the kids all really enjoyed it! it was so fun to be with jade since we hardly get to see her. jade's little sister was actually born this same morning while we were at the play so it was fun to talk to her and see how excited she is to have a new baby sister. i took some funny picture of the car ride home. it so entertaining to take funny picutres while riding in the passenger seat.

dave and mable went out to daves favorite store best buy...well that's one of his favorite stores. they decide to buy this game which i guess you shoot bears and stuff. i thought these pictures were so funny. they are so into it!

end of summer party

my awesome friend erin invited us over for a little get together since school starts next week. we had a lot of fun! the kids did slip n slide while us mom's played inside. we watched a you tube video and tried learning a dance move called "the jerk". it was pretty funny. after the kids were done they wanted to dance too. later that night we had the browns over for a bbq and s'mores. i am so glad we met them because we LOVE hanging out with them! they are awesome!

 i think he is the cutest little guy ever.

dreydan and rylands haircuts

dreydan was in desperate need of a haircut. usually i just cut it myself but katelynn wanted us to go to cartoon cuts with her and ryland since he doesn't like anyone but his mom. sadly ryland still hated it and screamed the entire time but dreydan liked it! he sat and watched the tv and was perfectly happy. the boys got matching fauxhawks. they look so handsome.

 delaney even scored some candy.

 as we were leaving the mall we stopped to strike a pose infront of the orange wall...oh yeah!

meet the kindergarten teachers

The twins had a fun time meeting their teachers. While I took them Mable was roaming the school with her friend Katrina saying hi to all her old teachers. It's crazy she won't be at that school anymore and the twins will be!!! I'm in disbelief that this is about to happen. Delaney is nervous but excited. Dreydan is SO ready he can't wait. He's excited to have his friend Butch in his same class.
