HaPpY BiRtHdAy MabLe!!!!!

I can't believe Mable is already nine years old! Time goes by so quick! It's funny how one day she will be totally tomboy and then the next she's wearing lip gloss and jewelry. She has become Delaney's idol. Everything Mable does Delaney will copy.

For her birthday we woke her up in the morning before school and let her open her presents. She was totally surprise to get a Wii although Dave and I have played with it more than she has :) She went to school and had to stay an hour late because we were having extreme weather. There was a tornado watch so they had to get in the hallway and take cover and weren't allowed to leave. Mable said all the kids were crying. When she finally got home from school Tara & I had sent up the fish tank with her 7 fish in it that her grandparents and Katelynn & Karleigh got for her. She is so happy to finally have some pets (if you can even call fish pets). Later we had a BBQ with our cousins/accross the street neighbors.  Nick & Stephanie, Katelynn and Grandma Bonnie came too. It was a fun day!!

Our first family fishing adventure!

Mable had so much fun! The lake was super crowded but we were able to find a spot and sit down to have some lunch and try and catch some fish. After going to Burke Lake with all the kids we came home and put the twins down for a nap and Mable and Dave went to Lake Accotink. Mable caught her first fish there!!! Dave didn't have my camera. He took a picture with his phone so I'll have to figure out how to get it on the computer.

Disneyland

This was Dreydan's first visit to Disneyland and Mable's second. Delaney stayed home with Daddy. Sorry Laney :). 

We had a lot of fun! Five days at Disneyland is a bit much for a one week vacation but it was fun to see the family. Mable went on all the big rides with me. Her favorite was the Matterhorn. She loved being able to stay late with Jeni and Natalie to watch fireworks or go on rides while the little kids went back to the hotel to go to bed. Seth and Kevin and I went on the Tower of Terror like 4 times in a row. I loved watching Seth on the ride because he's so small he would just fly out of his seat and he loved it......so funny! Dreydan learned that he could fall asleep in his stroller thank goodness! He was so funny on all the rides because he would cover his eyes with his hand but would peek through, even on the Winnie-the-Pooh ride. He loved Grandpa. He was always saying "I want Papa". We're hoping to be able to go to Utah soon so we can see the family again!!! We miss them a lot!!!!!!
